Argentina's income amounted to ARS 694,060 million, reflecting a 7% rise compared to the previous year. The nation's economy continued its recovery trend in the third quarter, with GDP rising 8.5% year-over-year, fueled by strong private spending and investment. Inflation decreased to 1.9% month-on-month as of August. Claro's income increased by 7.0% year-over-year in real terms, with service income up 11.9%. Mobile service income rose 12.0%, boosted by excellent prepaid performance, while postpaid growth improved from 0.6% in the prior quarter to 3.7% during this period. Fixed-line service income went up 11.8%, aided by significant growth in PayTV and broadband services.
Central America's income rose by 10.8% to reach $741 million, driven by sustained performance in Service and Equipment revenues. Revenues from Austria, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, and Ecuador showed year-over-year increases of 3.5%, 5.4%, 3.1%, 2%, and 1.6% respectively. Revenues in the Caribbean decreased by 1.2%.
